Where are you from?
I was born in Manila, Philippines but I’m a Davaoeña by heart. I grew up and stayed in Davao City throughout my childhood and high school.
How many languages can you speak?
My native tongue is Filipino and I’ve been learning English since I was in Nursery. French, I learned in Elementary. Russian, I enrolled in a language tutorial class in 2014.
Fluent: Filipino (and 3 other dialects)
Conversational: English, French, and Russian
Are you single?
No, I’m in a relationship.
How often do you travel?
It depends upon my mood but I prefer to travel slow – like actually enjoy my destinations without needing to rush. Every year, I try to travel to 2 international counties and 5 locally. I enjoy going back to cities/provinces that I’ve been to. Exampled, I’ve already traveled to Cebu more than 5x!
What’s your favorite country aside from the Philippines?
I have no favorite country but I do have a favorite city. Weird, right? Hahaha! It’s Osaka, Japan. ❤
What sources of income does your blog have?
I earn a bit of commission through Affiliate Marketing and Ads. Thank you very much for the supporting me through this! ❤
What would you say that is the greatest satisfaction of being a travel blogger?
The greatest satisfaction? I’m a talkative person in nature – both written and verbal. As a blogger in general, I like that my blabbing (mostly, radnom) helps others. Hahaha!
How much time do you put into writing content?
It depends on the topic (and my mood). Brainstorming usually takes most of the time – I write them first on my notebook then transfer them to my blog. I’d say 2.5 hours minimum.
This isn’t travel related but you said I can ask about making money online. Have you tried making money by selling products through newsletters or emails?
The monthly newsletters that I send are purely for information and inspiration. I did monetize in the past (with my previous blogs) but it didn’t last long. Rather I stopped doing it because it’s spammy, invasive and ineffective. There are some people who hate email marketing (me included).
Is blogging your main source of income? How do I start a blog that makes money?
I wish! But no, I run a printing service business in Manila. I also have a few side-hustles.
How to start a money making blog… Even though I’ve been blogging for awhile, I don’t think I have enough knowledge to teach. I’m sorry!
Do you accept guest posting?
Unfortunately, I do not accept guest posting right now. I’m in the process of revamping and organizing the blog. I might open it in the future.
Is blogging your profession or just a hobby?
Yes, blogging is my hobby. Offline, I run a business.
