MT. GULUGOD-BABOY (DAY HIKE)
Anilao, Batangas
Jump-off Point: Philpan Dive Resort, Anilao, Mabini
Rain or shine, Mt. Gulugod-Baboy offers breathtaking views, especially from its peak. It is located in Anilao, Mabini in the province of Batangas. The mountain got its name from the contours of the peaks which resembles a pig’s back.
It has a range of minor peaks (525 meters above sea level) with difficulty level of 2/9. Anilao is more famous for its dive spots but the nearby hills are also a popular hiking destination that’s easy enough to be tackled by newbie climbers.

Of course, the obligatory group photo

We are on energy-saving mode. Yup, that’s what it is. 🙂

You have shared some really nice photos here. I also liked the random tidbits, like how the mountains were named because they resembled a pigs back. Looks like it was a fun place to hike, and as a lover of hiking, and the outdoors it is definitely a place I would visit 🙂
